Story of Us: An Autobiography of a Modern Mother's Love

Story of Us originated from Kate's personal story written for her son, detailing his miraculous birth after years of infertility, including the tears, trials, and support from care teams. It was created with the intention of beginning a conversation about love and inclusivity. After a moment of clarity while reading the book to her newborn, Kate realized the message was universal: "This book is not about you; it's about all of Us." The book was then reimagined and published to champion all diverse paths to family, celebrating family as being defined by love.

Story of Us was written in love and gratitude, and aims to open a dialogue and create an inclusive, stigma-free community of support. It is for parents who are healing and recovering. It is for surrogates, donors, adoptive parents, those trying to conceive, and all on the journey to and through parenthood. May we together raise a new generation of children who share their stories openly with love.
