The Story of Us began as Kate’s personal story for her son after years of infertility and assisted reproductive care. It became something wider: a book for children, parents, surrogates, donors, adoptive families, people trying to conceive, and every family whose path deserves to be seen.
Written with love and gratitude, the book helps families talk openly about how they came to be — without stigma and without placing one path above another.
